Donations

During the course of the year we will be fund-raising extensively in two ways, you can help us out with one or the other – or if you are feeling particularly generous, both!

  1. Go Help UK We will be raising money for our charity Go Help UK, a project aimed to improve access to education and healthcare across central Asia, it is Go Help who organise the Mongolia Rally event that we are taking part in and we are aiming to raise £3000 to support them in their goals. You can find out more about what they do at their website and to donate, visit our JustGiving site where we are keeping a total of the money raised so far.
  2. The Ambulance Fund We will also be raising money separately to help us buy, equip, and fuel the two ambulances all the way to Ulaanbaatar, through PayPal. This will be invaluable as we expect the cost to be £8,000-10,000. If you would like to help us out with this you can support us in a couple of ways:
    • Straightforward cash 😀 (you can see how do this below)
    • Take a look at our wish-list, we will have a long list of equipment we will need for the journey, you might just have something at the back of your garage which we could use! We should point out that it is unlikely you will see it again as we will be flying back from Ulaanbaatar and will have limited luggage on the way back.

How to donate to Go Help

All you need to do is visit our JustGiving site, where you can donate either by credit/debit card or via PayPal. Please remember to Gift Aid your donation if applicable.

How to donate to the ambulance fund

You can donate in a couple of ways:

  • Cheque (made payable to any of the team, who will then pass on the donation) for you.
  • Via paypal (donations@sixdegreesofprocrastination.com) or cash to any of the team.

Transparency

We will endeavour to keep every penny we receive and spend visible on this website, you’ll be able to see exactly what we have spent money on as well as what we have received. We also will have a list of donors on the website and will include names unless you tell us otherwise that you would prefer to remain anonymous.
